Creating Free Blogs is easy, we recommend starting out using the terrific services over at Blogger.com

Setting up a free account is not only easy, it's quick.

You can find the Create a Blog Now button on Bloggers front page, and what's more, you can create multiple blogs anytime you wish. All you'll need to sign up is an email address a password and an idea for the title of your blog. (Author Recommends: keeping your keywords in the title of your blog, the same as you would for your domain name.)

Choosing a template is the first option after coming up with your blogs title that you will face. Though you can hire professional blog designers at places like eLance.com and RentaCoder.com, why not use one of Bloggers free templates, especially if you are just starting out.

Remember too that you can change your template at any time in the future. For now just pick one that's pleasing to the eye and easy to work with, any of the Minima templates fit this bill and are easily customizable.

Once your Template is chosen your new blog is ready for your first post.

If you just created the blog Blogger will give you the option to start posting immediately. Especially if you are new to blogging I recommend that you post a test post first and foremost before doing anything else. Give it any title you want, My First Money Making Post or anything else.

Fill in the text area with whatever stream of thought comes to mind or a highlighted and copied file from your hard drive that you are considering posting. When you are done click the Publish Post button and watch as your blog is successfully posted to the Internet.

Remember, at any time you can go back and delete that post should you wish. Feel free to play around with the ever important options like hyperlinking text and the occasional use of bold and italics to spruce up the content.

Customizing your blog is one of the most important aspects of good blogging, well beside posting unique, interesting and useful information. Customizing your blog is not only how you stand out from the crowd, it lets people know that this isn't another blog that is is doomed from the start to be neglected and never updated.

While still logged into Blogger go to the Dashboard. It is here that you will make all of the decisions about how your blog will look, what gets posted and other important stuff.

Next to your blogs name their should be an option to go to the template. Click that to see the HTML and CSS code that makes up your blog.

Don't be afraid if you don't know any HTML or CSS coding. Most modifications that you'll be making will be relatively simple or the code will be available somewhere online for you to cut and paste. Blogger will always give you the option to preview your changes before they are put into effect and at any time you can backup your template in case you do make a mistake and have to revert back to the original. You can do this at anytime by highlighting and copying the code from the template section and saving as a text or word file.

If at anytime you decide to apply a new template Blogger will remind you that all previous blog changes, not including posts, will be lost.

Also after any changes remember to republish your entire blog for the results to be seen by any viewers.

Suggestions for Customizing your blog, especially in the beginning are adding relevant links where Blogger has put in temporary links, changing or adding to your description, editing your profile and changing your title to a customized banner.

For the last one there is a great video tutorial by Ryanne at FreeVlog.com

One of the best ways to customize your blog and make it stand out as a professional online venture is having your own domain name. You don't even have to have the added cost of hosting your files while you use Blogger. Blogger will take care of that allowing you to simply redirect your domain name and saving you money.

Find your keyword specific domain name today, as it is easier to switch over your blog before you spend all your time creating backlinks that will become irrelevant.

Because Blogger is owned by Google there are options to automatically add Google Adsense to your blog. Use this option if you are just starting out. But it is important to later learn how to generate Google Adsense code and add it where you want into your blogs template. Don't forget the other options to Montize your blog using the Checklist's Monetize Your Blog page.

Other Customizations you should consider are adding a traffic counter as Blogger does not have this option. StatCounter is a free and valuable tool in measuring your traffic and its sources.

Lean how to post pictures and work with the Post Editor and you are well on your way to generating income from Blogging.
